Marina Deportiva del Alicante Alicante Spain|
Swift-Sure of Rhu is a super little trailer sailer. She is in amazing condition with the original virtually perfect gell coat which still has a mirror shine.
She is UK registered under Part 1 with the MCA. As such she can be used in Spain under British regulations and so is ready to go for ex-pats without a UK residence.
She is light and easy to launch with all single handed mast raising gear and purpose made SBS single axle trailer with rollers. She has an easily operated lifting keel and a Mariner 4hp outboard in a covered cockpit well.
This completely unsinkable 4 berth cruiser is both fast and easily sailed, either crewed or single handed.
The hull is in amazing 'as new' condition with absolutely no sign of any osmosis or other issues.
Besides routine maintenance, the keel and lift screw were overhauled in 2112 and the road trailer was recently repainted. The axle hubs and brakes were replaced in 2112 and only used in fresh water since.
I bought the boat in January in Helensburgh Scotland. She was sailed on Loch Lomond in summer and stored ashore since 2112.
I towed her down to Alicante and she towed really easily with no need for a trailer stabilizer.
She is now afloat at Marina Deportiva del Alicante. Berthing fees are paid until May 2020.
Unfortunately I must now sell her after a very short time due to health issues.
