The C-Yacht 1100 is a total success story from the yard of Zaadnoordijk Yachtbuilders. The 1100 is a well-built, long-distance cruiser with real comfort and interior spaciousness. The Center Cockpit is protected by a large windscreen behind which all control lines are led, as standard, to provide easy trimming. The cockpit is safe and gives a clear view.
The C-Yacht 1100 is a boat that is particularly suited to long passages. Several owners have travelled around the world on their 1100. And that is no mean feat! It all begins with a good design. The task of designing a safe boat, that is easy to handle and to sail under all circumstances has succeeded.
Design: Frans Maas
The design: the keel box is made extra high for even more stiffness. All this gives every reason to make that long cruise.
The stylish 1100 with her good sailing characteristics and forgiving underwater sections is a safe boat designed for comfortable long-distance cruising, either for a couple or a family.
The vinylester resin used in construction of the C-Yacht 1100 hull means that, not only is osmosis prevented, it is also a lot stronger than old-fashioned polyester. The C-Yacht 1100 is a really rigid boat. This is due to the exceptionally high floor frames around the keel attachment area. The keel box is made extra high for even more stiffness. All this gives every reason to make that long cruise. The standard lightning protection, stainless steel rudder shaft and rigid hull/deck joint makes the picture complete. The heavy tanks are placed as close as possible to the engine compartment and enhance the forgiving sailing qualities of the C-Yacht 1100.

Practical, easily-handled and perfect for those of a taller stature thanks to amazing internal headroom.â
2020 UPDATE
Zingara has not been out of the water for three years, so she needs a good scrub, anodes, polish, antifoul and cosmetic attention. There is nothing seriously wrong with her that the owner is aware of but a new owner would want new sails, the teak needs cleaning, and the engine will need some attention, it has only done 650 hours, but has not been started since its last service, possibly the fuel tank needs cleaning of dirty diesel. A clear panel in the spray hood needs replacing, there is a 3â split. All work can be done in Rota, sails and spray hood in Puerto Sherry nearby. Annual berthing us about â¬4250, Rota is a nice town with great beaches. Closest airport is Jerez de la Fronteda, or Seville.
